Home › FAQ Frequently Asked Questions Getting Started Do I need a pilot license to use the simulator? No. No license, no experience, and no prior knowledge required. Anyone can book a session. Our staff will give you a brief orientation when you arrive so you're comfortable in the cockpit before you ever take the controls. Can children fly the simulator? Yes — children are welcome when they are able to reach the controls comfortably. It's a fantastic experience for kids with an interest in aviation, and a great family outing regardless of background. We recommend calling ahead if you're bringing younger children so we can confirm the setup works for them. Do I need to make a reservation, or can I walk in? Walk-ins are welcome based on availability, but we strongly recommend booking in advance — especially on weekends and evenings. You can book online 24/7 or call us during operating hours. What should I wear or bring? Just yourself. There's no dress code. Comfortable clothes are fine. If you're a pilot and want to bring your own kneeboard, checklist, or charts — feel free. We have everything else you need on-site. The Simulator What simulator do you use? We use the Real Sim Gear SR-G6 — a high-fidelity civilian simulator featuring a full Garmin G1000 NXi glass cockpit and Cirrus SR aircraft specifications. It replicates the cockpit experience of a modern Cirrus SR aircraft with a high degree of accuracy. You can access 24,000+ airports worldwide and set any weather condition. Where can I fly in the simulator? Anywhere in the world. The simulator has access to 24,000+ airports. Popular choices include KJFK, KLGA, KISP (right outside our door), Caribbean routes, mountain flying in the Rockies, and approaches at major international airports. You pick the destination, we set it up. Can I choose the weather conditions? Yes. You control the weather. Clear and calm, instrument conditions, crosswinds, night operations, storms — whatever you want to experience or practice. If you're a pilot wanting to work on challenging approaches, this is one of the most cost-effective ways to do it. Pricing & Booking How much does it cost? Standard rental is $80/hour. We also offer a 10-hour pre-paid block for $700 (save $100). Our corporate group package is $200 for a 3-hour rotating experience for up to 4 participants. Premium membership is $60/month and includes priority booking and member pricing on sessions. How do I book a session? Book online 24/7 through our booking platform on the Book the Simulator page, or call us directly at (631) XXX-XXXX during operating hours. Walk-ins are welcome subject to availability. What payment methods do you accept? All major credit and debit cards are accepted on-site. Pre-paid block purchases can be arranged by phone or in person. Can I cancel or reschedule? Yes. Location & Hours Where are you located? We're at 3279 Veterans Memorial Hwy, Suite D-1, Ronkonkoma, NY 11779 — less than 3 minutes from Islip MacArthur Airport (KISP). Parking is available on-site. What are your hours? Wednesday through Friday: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM. Saturday and Sunday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Closed Monday and Tuesday. Hours may vary for private events — call ahead if you're unsure. Is there parking? Yes. On-site parking is available at our Veterans Memorial Hwy location. Membership & Events What does the Premium Membership include? Premium Membership is $60/month and includes priority booking (first access to open time slots), member pricing on all sessions, early access to events and seminars, exclusive member-only nights, and full membership in the Eagle FSC community. What kinds of events do you host? We host aviation safety seminars, pilot networking mixers, Meet the Pilots nights, Parents & Teens events, and private group bookings. We can accommodate private bookings for birthday parties, aviation club outings, school field trips, scouting events, and more.
